OMG!! Scaring Witchcraft Things , Muhoozi And M7 Photos Found In Speaker Anita Among’s Home

Authorities conducting searches linked to former Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among were reportedly left stunned on Sunday after investigators allegedly recovered several items believed to be connected to traditional witchcraft practices at some of her residences, according to sources familiar with the ongoing operation.

Multiple sources close to the investigation claimed detectives discovered herbs, charms, and other materials commonly associated with traditional shrines operated by witch doctors during coordinated searches carried out by security personnel.

The reported recovery has since triggered intense public debate across social media platforms, with many Ugandans expressing shock over the allegations given Among’s public image as a religious and politically influential figure. The former Speaker has in recent years frequently been associated with high-profile religious events, including reported visits to Rome where she met Pope Francis.

Sources familiar with the matter further alleged that some of the traditional items and herbs were found placed on top of documents containing photographs of Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and President Yoweri Museveni.

However, the claims had not been independently verified by authorities by Sunday evening, and security agencies had yet to release any official statement confirming the reported discoveries or explaining the circumstances surrounding the operation.

The developments nevertheless fueled fresh national discussion about the enduring influence of traditional beliefs, spiritual practices, and witchcraft allegations within sections of African society, including among politically connected and high-ranking public figures.

In Uganda and across parts of the region, traditional spiritual practices continue to coexist alongside modern religious worship, often creating controversy whenever prominent leaders are linked to alleged shrine-related activities.

Political analysts and social commentators noted that the allegations, whether ultimately verified or disproved, are likely to intensify public scrutiny surrounding the former Speaker at a time when tensions within Uganda’s political establishment remain high.

By Sunday night, investigators were said to still be documenting materials recovered during the searches as part of broader ongoing inquiries. Authorities have not disclosed whether any criminal charges could arise from the alleged discoveries.

Security sources indicated that operations connected to the investigation were still ongoing and that more details could emerge in the coming days as detectives continue examining the recovered items and recording statements from individuals linked to the premises searched.

The former Speaker had not publicly commented on the allegations by the time of publication.
