Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu Wins Support Through Real Service, Not Promises
On Monday, Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu joined other political candidates in a joint campaign rally held in Bumufuni, Bunambutye, and Bwihonge. While many candidates used the rally to make big promises, Biara chose a different approach—he spoke about the real work he has already done to improve people’s lives.
As he spoke, the crowd responded with excitement and loud cheers. Many people stood up to mention the things Biara has done for their communities. These include fixing broken boreholes to restore clean water, offering scholarships—such as one given to the child of the late Bosco—and building temporary bridges to connect villages more easily.
Biara has also helped women’s savings groups with funding, distributed tree seedlings to support environmental protection, started piped water projects, and organized sports tournaments to support youth development. These actions have earned him respect as a leader who works with the people, not just for them.
During his speech, Biara shared his future plans, including a project to restock cattle in the Greater Bunambutye region. This area has faced serious livestock losses in the past, and Biara said restocking will help families recover their income and rebuild their lives.
He also made a strong promise to bring an ambulance to Bulambuli District, even if he is not re-elected. This touched many hearts and showed his deep care for the people. He made it clear that his mission is to serve, not just to win votes.
The Biara Foundation thanked the people of Greater Bunambutye for the warm welcome. A representative from the foundation said, “The love you showed Biara today proves that you trust him and are ready to give him the NRM flag.”
As campaigns continue across the region, Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu stands out as a leader who has earned support through action, not empty words. His record speaks for itself—and the people are clearly listening.
