Who Is Tabz? The Ugandan Online ‘FBI’ That Exposed All Anita Among’s Wealth And Black Deals

Andrew Natumanya, widely known online as Ninye Tabz or simply Tabz, was born in Uganda. His father was the late Godfrey Nyehangane Tabandama from Sheema District in western Uganda.

He grew up in Sheema and later rose to prominence through photography and digital activism.
He gained national fame as the official photographer for opposition leader Bobi Wine and the National Unity Platform. Over time, he evolved into an investigative journalist, cinematographer, documentary filmmaker, and a sharp social media commentator known for digging up old videos, documents, and receipts on public figures.

Tabs is often called Uganda’s “People’s FBI” for his ability to unearth and share information quickly. He’s also a vocal human rights and press freedom activist. In 2024, he parted ways with his role as Bobi Wine’s photographer.

Tragedy struck his family in September 2024 when his 72-year-old father was murdered by strangulation during a robbery at their home in Sheema. Three people were later arrested in connection with the case.

Tabs has been at the center of major online storms lately, especially his explosive revelations about outgoing Speaker Anita Annet Among. In May 2026, he flooded social media with claims of raids on Among’s properties, seized luxury items, internal NRM tensions, and that plans to arrest her over the mabaati scandal were allegedly paused to avoid embarrassment.

His posts went viral, putting him in the spotlight, and reportedly in danger, with claims that security operatives were tracking him and even attempting to raid his area.

Now, he’s locked in a fresh feud with newly appointed Minister Justine Nameere Nsubuga. After Nameere clashed with Nation Media’s Susan Nsibirwa over her election win, Tabz resurfaced old clips of Nameere’s past debt and bounced cheque issues from years ago.
Nameere hit back hard, threatening to sue him and claiming her team found multiple criminal files against him.

The back-and-forth is still heating up on X and Facebook, with both sides trading jabs.
