The Service Bull!! Youths Embrace Justus Tukamushaba’s “Just Us” Campaign For National Youth Council Chairperson
In a spirited and passionate appeal to the youth of Uganda, Justus Tukamushaba has officially declared his candidacy for Chairperson of the National Youth Council (NYC), unveiling a vision centered on empowerment, inclusion, and action.
Speaking to NYC delegates and youth leaders across the country, Tukamushaba emphasized that this election is bigger than one individual. “This election is not about Justus,” he said. “It’s about Just Us — all of us. The youth of Uganda deserve a Council that listens, acts, and delivers.”
Under the banner of “Team Justus Tukamushaba,” the candidate’s campaign has gained momentum on a platform that promises job creation, skills development, stronger youth representation, and impactful community-driven programs. Tukamushaba’s message is clear: Uganda’s young people are not the leaders of tomorrow — they are the changemakers of today.
“Our vision is to empower Uganda’s youth through meaningful opportunities,” Tukamushaba said. “With the right support and the right leadership, we can harness our potential to build a stronger, more inclusive nation.”
A key component of his plan includes forging partnerships with both government and private sector actors to open up job opportunities and promote innovation. His campaign also highlights the importance of equipping young people with practical skills through vocational training and entrepreneurship programs.
“We are committed to driving youth-led solutions,” he noted. “From agriculture to technology, from creative arts to community leadership, we believe young people can lead Uganda’s transformation.”
Tukamushaba’s approach is also rooted in accountability and inclusivity. He has pledged to build a more responsive and transparent Youth Council — one that is accessible to every young person, regardless of background or location.
“We’re building a Council that doesn’t just speak for the youth, but listens to them,” he said. “A Council that works for all — in urban centers and rural communities alike.”
Known among his peers as “The Service Bull,” Tukamushaba has long championed service, youth empowerment, and grassroots leadership. His nickname reflects his relentless drive to serve and his belief in leading from the front.
The campaign’s slogan — “Let’s shape a youth-led future that delivers results” — underscores a broader mission to redefine youth leadership in Uganda, not as a ceremonial role, but as a powerful vehicle for change.
As the National Youth Council elections draw closer, Tukamushaba is urging delegates to look beyond promises and focus on proven commitment and a clear agenda.
“I ask for your trust, your support, and your vote,” he said in his closing remarks. “The time is now. Let’s work together to create a future where every youth is heard, empowered, and proud to be Ugandan.”
With growing support and a compelling message, Justus Tukamushaba is positioning himself as a leading contender in what promises to be a defining moment for youth leadership in Uganda.
