How ‘Fake’ Pastors Sponsor M7 Government In Elections And Are Allowed To Do Their Miracle Games With No Disturbance – Opinion

Have you ever wondered why some born-again pastors appear more comfortable defending the government than demanding accountability for its failures? Why do some religious leaders spend hours fighting Satan but remain silent when citizens struggle to access medicine, quality education, decent roads and other essential public services?
The answer lies in a dangerous alliance between religious manipulation and political complacency, where suffering citizens are encouraged to pray over problems that require practical solutions, while those responsible for delivering public services escape scrutiny.
Let us be honest: prayer is important to millions of believers. Faith can provide hope, courage and comfort during difficult times. But faith should never become an excuse for government failure, nor should the pulpit become a hiding place for leaders who have failed their people.
Consider a woman who takes her sick child to a government hospital, only to find that essential medicines are unavailable. Instead of demanding answers about where taxpayers’ money goes, she is told to seek prayers. The pastor curses Satan, conducts deliverance and declares victory over the disease.
Tragically, the child may die from an illness that required timely medical attention. Yet the government responsible for providing healthcare may never face the blame. Satan becomes the suspect, while those responsible for the health system walk free from public scrutiny.
Is that faith, or is it the perfect escape route for political failure?
Look at our education system. Children attend poorly equipped schools, sometimes taught in overcrowded classrooms with inadequate learning materials. When examination results disappoint, some parents are encouraged to blame witchcraft, evil spirits or Satan’s attacks.
Where are the questions about teacher shortages, poor facilities, inadequate funding and the quality of education? Why should a child’s academic struggles automatically become a spiritual battle when the education system itself deserves serious examination?
The same pattern emerges when road accidents claim lives. Instead of discussing dangerous roads, potholes, poor lighting, reckless driving and weak enforcement of traffic regulations, some people are told that their family is suffering from a generational curse.
People pray, fast and conduct deliverance sessions, but the road remains dangerous. Another accident happens, another family mourns, and the cycle continues.
How long shall we keep fighting imaginary explanations while ignoring real problems?
My concern is not Christianity. It is the exploitation of Christianity to discourage critical thinking and weaken citizens’ demand for accountability. Not every pastor supports the government, and not every church discourages questions. Some religious leaders courageously speak against injustice and defend the vulnerable.
However, those who use their influence to silence legitimate questions must be challenged. Religious leaders have a responsibility to encourage responsible citizenship, not condition believers to accept suffering without questioning those in power.
When citizens pay taxes, they deserve functioning hospitals, quality schools, safe roads and accountable public institutions. These are not miracles to be begged for; they are public responsibilities that leaders must fulfil.
And to believers, remember this: praying for employment does not eliminate the need to demand economic opportunities. Praying for healing does not replace medical treatment. Praying for better schools does not excuse poor education policies.
God helps those who help themselves, but helping yourself also means thinking critically, taking action and demanding accountability.
Wake up! Pray if you must, but ask questions too. Anoint your children, but demand better schools. Pray for the sick, but demand medicine in hospitals. Rebuke Satan if that is your faith, but never allow Satan to become the permanent scapegoat for government incompetence.
A nation that blames every failure on the devil will never hold its leaders accountable. And a citizenry that refuses to question power will continue paying the price.
