Why Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Wants To Arrest CID Boss Magambo – Reveals His Evil Works

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) in Uganda, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has recently stirred up significant controversy with a public statement on social media, where he announced plans to arrest the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in the Uganda Police, Tom Magambo.

The alarming statement, made through a series of tweets that have since been deleted, has raised eyebrows within both the security forces and the wider public. Muhoozi’s remarks, as recorded in his now-deleted tweets, were clear and direct.

He stated, “Magambo likes arresting people saying that Mzee has sent him. Well, now it’s his turn to be arrested.”

This fiery statement didn’t stop at Magambo alone, as Muhoozi suggested that the arrest would extend to others in Magambo’s circle, further igniting speculation about the potential reasons behind this drastic move. Adding fuel to the fire, Muhoozi followed up with another tweet, asserting that Magambo was fully aware of his actions and the reasons that justified his impending arrest.

While the public is still in the dark about the exact circumstances leading to Muhoozi’s outburst, there have been recent developments that could provide some context. Notably, the Uganda Police recently arrested two of Muhoozi’s prominent supporters—Members of Parliament Michael Mawanda, who represents Igara East, and Cissy Namujju, the woman representative for Lwengo District.

Both MPs were subsequently released pending trial at the Anti-Corruption Court.Supporters of Muhoozi have consistently claimed that the arrests of these MPs, particularly Mawanda, were politically motivated.

Mawanda is a key figure in the Patriotic League of Uganda, a political movement aligned with Muhoozi. His supporters argue that Mawanda’s arrest was directly linked to his affiliation with Muhoozi and his outspoken support for the CDF’s political ambitions.

While the true motivations behind these arrests remain unclear, Muhoozi’s followers are vocal in their belief that powerful political forces are at play, although the identity of those allegedly behind the arrests has not been definitively identified. In the wake of these developments, Muhoozi’s comments on social media have only heightened the sense of unease within the government.

His declaration that the Uganda Police Force (UPF) is under his control, alongside his role as the CDF, has further fueled speculation and concern.

“As CDF, I control both UPDF and UPF! If anyone has ANY issues with that he will see,” Muhoozi boldly stated in another tweet, drawing attention to the delicate power dynamics within Uganda’s security forces.

This statement, which places Muhoozi in a powerful position over both the military and police, is unsettling for many, particularly those within government circles who are already grappling with the CDF’s increasingly assertive social media presence. Muhoozi’s tweets often reflect his penchant for stirring controversy, with past statements indicating his willingness to take extreme measures.

In some of his most alarming messages, he has threatened to kill opposition leaders such as Dr. Kizza Besigye, the leader of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), as well as Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the president of the National Unity Platform (NUP), and any of their supporters who are seen wearing party uniforms.Muhoozi’s rhetoric has not been limited to domestic politics.

In the past, he has also issued threats towards foreign nations, including neighboring countries such as Kenya, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as well as distant powers like Egypt. These statements have sparked diplomatic tensions and raised concerns about the potential for escalating conflicts in the region. Despite the growing controversy surrounding his social media posts, President Museveni, Muhoozi’s father, has publicly distanced himself from his son’s statements.

In particular, President Museveni has criticized some of Muhoozi’s tweets, especially those that provoke unnecessary controversy. Nevertheless, Muhoozi and his supporters have repeatedly claimed that his social media accounts are occasionally hacked, and they have suggested that his tweets should not be taken seriously unless they are explicitly signed by him.

At one point, in an apparent attempt to focus on his role as the CDF, Muhoozi deactivated his Twitter account. He declared that he would no longer engage in social media discussions and would instead devote his attention to his military duties. However, just days later, Muhoozi returned to his Twitter account, continuing to post statements that reignited the flames of controversy and political speculation.

In summary, Muhoozi’s recent outbursts on social media and his public confrontation with key figures in the police force, such as Tom Magambo, have caused considerable unease within Uganda’s political and security spheres. His claims of controlling both the military and police forces, combined with his increasingly inflammatory rhetoric, suggest that Muhoozi’s influence is extending far beyond his official role as CDF.

The ongoing drama surrounding his social media presence raises important questions about the future of Ugandan politics, particularly as Muhoozi continues to make bold statements that blur the lines between his military responsibilities and his political ambitions.

As this situation unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Muhoozi’s controversial online statements will have lasting consequences for his relationship with the government and his supporters, or if they will simply be dismissed as part of a larger political theater.
