Growing up in Entebbe, Uganda, Jane was always known as “the last in class.” No matter how hard she tried, her grades never seemed to improve. Teachers were often disappointed, her classmates teased her, and at times, even her family lost hope. While her siblings excelled academically, Jane was often seen as the underachiever. She felt embarrassed, discouraged, and convinced that she would never achieve anything in her studies.

She remembers the lonely nights spent with her books, silently crying. Despite hours of revision, her results always let her down.
