Singer Levixone To Wed His Beautiful Sugar Mummy Desire Luzinda Next Month – Woman’s Family To Fund Wedding

Ugandan gospel powerhouses Levixone and Desire Luzinda have taken their fans by joyful surprise with the announcement of their engagement, marking a new chapter in a love story built on faith, transformation, and divine timing.

Levixone, born Sam Lucas Lubyogo, took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal that he had proposed to Desire Luzinda — and she said yes.

“For so many years, I kept this close to my heart,” Levixone wrote.

“I prayed for purpose, and God gave me the love of my life. He was writing a story I couldn’t see, full of grace, joy, and quiet miracles. My best friend said ‘YES’ — my answered prayer, my forever, the Woman of God.”

Desire Luzinda, in a parallel post, poured her heart out: “There were moments I thought love had passed me by, that heartbreak was my story… but God had a greater plan.” She added,

“He healed my heart, renewed my faith, and rewrote my story. He brought me the right person, at the right time. A man after God’s own heart. Can’t wait to build a God-driven marriage with the best man of God @levixone. Love truly wins when it starts with Him.”

A Journey from Pain to Purpose

The engagement is deeply symbolic, not just of love, but of redemption and renewed purpose — two themes central to both artists’ personal journeys.

Levixone rose from one of Kampala’s toughest slums, Kosovo in Lungujja, where he was raised in poverty and abandoned by his parents at a young age.

He spent much of his childhood on the streets, often going days without food, and relying on garbage bins for survival.

Against all odds, he found purpose in gospel music and emerged as one of Uganda’s most influential Christian artists, known for hits like “Turn the Replay” and “Chikibombe.”

He has used his success to give back to communities like the one he came from, running charities focused on education and youth empowerment.

Desire Luzinda, on the other hand, was once a popular secular artist and socialite, making headlines for both her music and controversies.

In 2018, she announced a complete turnaround, giving her life to Christ and transitioning fully into gospel ministry. Since then, she has used her testimony of transformation to inspire women and youth, becoming a passionate advocate for second chances and spiritual healing.

Now based partly in the U.S. with her daughter, Luzinda is also the founder of the Desire Luzinda Foundation International (DLFI), which supports vulnerable girls through education and mentorship.

A Union of Purpose

The couple’s engagement has struck a deep chord with their followers, with messages of congratulations pouring in from fans, fellow artists, and public figures. Barbie Kyagulanyi, wife of opposition leader Bobi Wine, was among those who liked Luzinda’s post — a nod to the wide influence the two artists hold.

Together, Levixone and Luzinda represent a compelling narrative of brokenness turned into beauty. Their love story, grounded in faith and spiritual alignment, is being celebrated as a “kingdom relationship” — one centered on purpose, service, and God.

Wedding Date Confirmed

According to information reaching us, Desire Luzinda and Levixone are set to walk down the aisle in mid-August.

The information shared on Manifest TV reveals that the two lovebirds will say their vows on 15th August 2025.

Levixone and Desire have been dating for several years and only made their relationship known to the public a few days ago with an engagement.

The two plan to spend the rest of their lives together and the netizens have wished them the very best.
