SAD!! S3 Girl Allegedly Brutally Killed By Boyfriend After Night Of Twa Twa

A wave of grief has hit Kitebi Secondary School following the tragic death of Senior Three student Faith Namata. Reports indicate that she was allegedly killed by her boyfriend after spending the night at his home in Bunamwaya, a Kampala suburb.

Police say Faith went to visit her boyfriend over the weekend but never returned home. Concerned after failed attempts to reach her by phone, her family reported her missing to the local police station.

Residents of Bunamwaya were left in disbelief when police later discovered a young girl’s body dumped in a nearby swamp. It was later confirmed to be that of Faith Namata, the missing student from Kitebi SS.

Eyewitnesses in the area said the body was found by locals who were fetching water early in the morning. They immediately alerted the authorities, who arrived at the scene to begin investigations.

Police sources revealed that the main suspect — believed to be Faith’s boyfriend — had gone into hiding after the incident. Security teams have since launched a manhunt to track him down and ensure he faces justice.

Preliminary findings suggest that the two may have had a disagreement that escalated into violence. However, police said they are still gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to establish the full circumstances surrounding the girl’s death.

The tragic incident has sparked anger and sadness among students and teachers at Kitebi Secondary School, who described Faith as a bright and friendly student with a promising future. Many expressed shock that her life was cut short in such a brutal manner.

Parents and community leaders in Bunamwaya have condemned the act, urging young people to avoid dangerous relationships and to prioritize their education and safety. They also appealed to authorities to strengthen efforts against gender-based violence and youth crime.

Police have assured the public that they are doing everything possible to bring the suspect to justice. “We shall not rest until the person responsible for Faith’s death is arrested and prosecuted,” a police spokesperson said.

The death of Faith Namata has once again raised concern about the growing cases of violence among young people in relationships. Her family, school, and community continue to mourn a life lost too soon — a painful reminder of the need to protect and guide the youth.
