“THE BUTABIKA PLAN”: Late Nkutu’s Heir Kavuma Exposes Executor Brian Serunjoji Shared Plot To Lock Him Away And commit Inheritance Fraud To His Detriment

What began as a family fight over a mother’s houses in Entebbe and Kabaganda, her safe keys, and control of Sophies Ltd, has, according to Kavuma, become a fight for his freedom.

Kavuma alleges that after his arrest for criminal trespass and four nights at Entebbe CPS, he received forwarded messages on 23rd December 2025 laying out what he calls the Butabika Plan: remove him from police custody, commit him to Butabika for two weeks, deny him phone and visitors, and use that time to read the Will, revoke his mandate, and decide the fate of Kabaganda while he was out of circulation.

Kavuma says the messages that landed on his phone on 23rd December 2025, hours after his release on bond from Entebbe CPS, changed everything he thought he knew about the family estate fight.

According to Kavuma, the forwards were sent to him by executor Brian Serunjogi. Serunjogi allegedly told him on phone before sending that they had been written by Conrad Kirunda Nkutu.

Kavuma alleges the messages laid out what he calls a “Butabika option” — a plan to have him removed from police custody, taken to Butabika Hospital for psychiatric evaluation, and held there for at least two weeks while the courts were not functioning.

In the messages as shared with Kavuma, the writer allegedly argues that Kavuma had a 95% chance of getting police bond the next day, and that the family was worried he would harm them and all that isn’t true.

Below are the messages shared By Brian Serunjoji to Kavuma as Written by Conrad

Serunjogi shared more messages of Kavuma’s siblings plans.

The plan to exhume both ladies buried in Kabaganda and sell the home might be one of the motivations for Kavuma’s continued denied access to the Kabaganda home.

The messages as shared list a series of proposed steps, according to Kavuma: that Kavuma be officially signed out of CPS and signed into Butabika by police officers, that the family provide grounds for a psych evaluation, that he be held in the private wing under full-time watch, that he be denied phone access and visitors, and that while he was in hospital, legal steps be taken including readying criminal cases, reading the Will under video recording, and revoking his management mandate from Sophies Ltd.

The messages also allegedly state that if Butabika freed him, he should only be released back into police custody, with an arrest warrant from Kiteezi Police waiting for him.

Kavuma says a second batch of updates he received described a security officer arriving at CPS Entebbe to effect a transfer to Butabika, Entebbe Police insisting on a police psychiatrist first in the absence of a court order, and a police psychiatrist later concluding that Kavuma was sane but, in the psychiatrist’s alleged view, dangerous and likely to harm his siblings and should not be released on bond , all faked by Conrad and Sophie.

Kavuma further alleges that after he was later granted bond by OC CID Entebbe, Mr Comfort Byamukama, a plan was discussed to have a CID officer from Kiteezi, Emmy Odongo, wait at Entebbe CPS the next morning to re-arrest him for allegedly hindering burial and cyber harassment, seize his phone, and transfer him to Kiteezi.

Kavuma says he is publishing this because he believes the plan was not about medical care, but about keeping him “out of circulation” — no phone, no visitors, no ability to plot or defend himself — while decisions were made about the Will and the jointly bequeathed assets, including Kabaganda.

He also points to a separate message allegedly from Conrad, dated before the Will reading on Wednesday 21st January 2026, in which Conrad allegedly proposes liquidation of all jointly bequeathed assets, selling Kabaganda, exhuming and reburying two deceased sisters at Kangave, Semuto, Luweero, and suing the executors if they fail to follow the majority position.
