Anita Among Health Condition Leaves Ugandans Sad!! She Can’t Walk , Blood Clot And Legs Swollen – Videos Leak
Former Kampala Central Member of Parliament, Mohammed Nsereko, has appealed to Ugandans and religious leaders across the country to offer prayers for former Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among, saying her health condition has deteriorated to a worrying level. Nsereko suggested that her state is so serious that many people may not fully appreciate how critical it has become.
Speaking during a late-night TikTok live broadcast on Monday, Nsereko shared what he described as disturbing information regarding the former Speaker’s condition. He revealed that he had personally visited Anita Among at her residence in Kampala and was deeply shocked by the physical condition in which he found her.
According to Nsereko, the once-powerful Speaker appeared extremely weak and frail. He said the visit left him emotionally affected after witnessing the extent to which her health had declined within a relatively short period of time.
Nsereko further stated that Anita Among has become increasingly reflective about life and the temporary nature of political authority. He claimed that during their interaction, she expressed regret and reflected on the realities of power, noting that individuals currently occupying influential positions and allegedly using their authority to persecute or suppress others, including opposition figures such as Erias Lukwago, should learn from her experience.
He said Among now believes that political influence and public office are temporary and that no individual remains powerful forever. According to him, her personal journey from occupying one of the country’s most powerful offices to her current predicament serves as a lesson to those who wield state power without restraint.
Nsereko also recounted that he was particularly distressed by the condition of the former Speaker’s legs, which he described as severely swollen. He said the swelling was so alarming that he became overwhelmed with emotion and reportedly broke down in tears after witnessing the level of vulnerability and helplessness facing the former head of Uganda’s legislature.

He further claimed that Anita Among herself was unable to clearly explain the exact cause of her rapidly worsening health condition. Nsereko suggested that she could be battling several medical complications simultaneously, including conditions related to blood clots. He likened some of the symptoms to those reportedly associated with the illness that recently claimed the life of popular BBS Television journalist Joseph Mary Sserwadda.
According to Nsereko, Among is also struggling emotionally after witnessing how quickly two things she once possessed in abundance—power and wealth—appear to have diminished in significance during her current difficulties.
He said the former Speaker feels deeply hurt because many influential individuals who regularly visited her residences and office during the height of her political career have allegedly distanced themselves from her. Nsereko claimed that numerous prominent leaders who once sought her audience no longer visit, rarely answer her calls, and in many cases no longer respond to her messages.
He stated that this sudden isolation has caused her immense emotional pain, particularly because she feels abandoned by individuals she previously considered close allies and friends. According to Nsereko, Among is saddened by what she perceives as a lack of concern from those who once surrounded her, noting that very few people now check on her welfare or offer words of encouragement as she faces an uncertain future.
Nsereko further alleged that Anita Among is troubled by the fact that many Members of Parliament and religious leaders, including bishops whom she reportedly supported during her tenure, have not publicly expressed solidarity with her. He claimed that she feels deserted by individuals who once benefited from her support and influence.
Additionally, Nsereko said the former Speaker remains anxious over the possibility that ongoing actions against her could extend beyond the seizure of some of her properties, including vehicles and residences. He alleged that she fears authorities could eventually target her other private investments, including her stadium, livestock farms, extensive land holdings, media ventures, residential properties and nursing training institution.
Addressing thousands of followers during the live session, Nsereko contrasted Anita Among’s situation with that of opposition politician Erias Lukwago, who has received widespread public support from Ugandans and other East Africans. He claimed that Among is perplexed by what she perceives as public silence regarding her circumstances, saying many people appear unwilling to openly defend or speak on her behalf due to fears of possible repercussions.
