BREAKING!! TikToker Pressure Arrested Again After Fresh Renewal Of Abuses Against Kabaka And Buganda Kingdom

Ugandan authorities have arrested popular TikTok user “Pressure 24 Seven” following renewed allegations of publishing what officials describe as malicious and demeaning content targeting senior cultural leaders in the country.

The suspect, identified as Musana Ibrahim, is accused of masterminding and circulating controversial video clips on TikTok under the username @Pressure_24seven. The posts allegedly targeted His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda, Kabaka of Buganda, as well as other senior figures in the kingdom, including the Katikkiro.

Security agencies, including the Uganda Police Force and Crime Intelligence services, confirmed that Ibrahim was taken into custody following what they described as “thorough investigations” into the origin and distribution of the videos.

According to a statement released by authorities, the complaint was formally initiated by the Kingdom of Buganda after a series of posts were deemed defamatory and harmful. The statement emphasized that the publications were “frivolous, demeaning, malicious, and baseless,” and that legal steps were necessary to safeguard the dignity of the kingdom and its leadership.

Police spokespersons indicated that investigators tracked the digital footprint associated with the TikTok account and linked it to Ibrahim. “Through collaborative efforts among various security agencies, we were able to apprehend the individual responsible for creating and sharing the malicious media clips circulating on social media platforms,” a security official said while addressing journalists earlier today.

The Uganda Police further confirmed that Pressure 24 Seven remains in custody as investigations continue. Authorities revealed that evidence, including video materials and digital records, had been obtained and would form part of the case file.

This is not Ibrahim’s first encounter with law enforcement. He was previously arrested in February 2024 on related allegations and later released. At the time, he reportedly spent several weeks on remand at Luzira Prison before regaining his freedom pending further legal proceedings.

Luzira Prison, located in Kampala, is one of the country’s most well-known detention facilities and houses both remand prisoners and convicted offenders.

The latest arrest has sparked fresh debate on social media about freedom of expression and responsible online conduct. While some users argue that content creators should be allowed to express their views freely, others maintain that defamatory or harmful speech—particularly when directed at cultural institutions—must be addressed within the confines of the law.

Legal analysts note that Uganda’s Computer Misuse Act and other relevant laws provide authorities with the mandate to act against individuals accused of cyber harassment, offensive communication, or defamation conducted via digital platforms.

As of now, formal charges against Ibrahim have not been publicly detailed, but police have assured the public that due process will be followed.

Authorities have urged social media users to exercise caution and responsibility when creating and sharing online content, warning that misuse of digital platforms to spread harmful information could attract criminal liability.

Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses and as the suspect is presented before court.
