NUP defector Bitaano opens first NPP office in Mityana as she rivals MP Zaake

Nalubega Fausta Bitaano who is rivaling the incumbent Zaake Francis Butebi for the top Mityana Municipality MP seat has made a groundbreaking move to open the first National Peasants’ Party office in her electoral area.

Bitaano, a former contender within the NUP party who initially sought the Mityana woman MP flag cut all her ties with Kavule when she was denied the party ticket in a manner she describes as “unfair” and exceedingly cruel. She apparently sought sanctuary within Kasibante Robert’s National Peasants Party where she was granted the flag for Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament.

In a very significant move, Hon. Fausta has just opened a party office for the NPP Party which is popularized by the pen symbol.

“We will continue to serve our people irrespective of the party where we stand,” she exclaimed. “I hereby commission this office which will be our center of coordination,” she furthermore declared.

Bitaano’s contest with Zaake Francis Butebi is said to be one of the most interesting within Ssingo, as many pundits are yet to witness if she will unseat the incumbent who is eyeing a third consecutive term.
