Ugandan Kadama Sugar Mummy Defrauded by 24 Year Old Boyfriend After Years of Working Abroad, Takes Everything

A Ugandan woman who had been working in Saudi Arabia for several years has been left heartbroken and financially devastated after her boyfriend allegedly disappeared with all her life savings.

Maria (surname withheld), who had been employed as a domestic worker in the Middle East, had spent years sending money back home to her boyfriend, known as Selector Shaban. According to Maria, she had entrusted Shaban with her hard-earned savings, amounting to UGX 15 million, with the hope of building a life together upon her return to Uganda.

However, her dreams were shattered when she returned home, only to discover that Shaban had vanished without a trace.

“I worked day and night in Saudi, enduring all sorts of hardships, but I remained strong because I believed in our future,” Maria told reporters while holding back tears. “I sent him money consistently because we had plans — to buy land, start a business, and eventually get married.”

Maria is now appealing to the public for any information regarding Shaban’s whereabouts.

“If anyone knows where he is, please help me. I need justice. That was all the money I had saved for years,” she pleaded.

Community members and social media users have expressed mixed reactions, with some sympathizing with Maria while others criticizing her for trusting too much in a relationship that lacked legal or formal arrangements.

“Maria, at your age, you should be focusing on settling down with someone serious, not wasting time on young boys playing games,” said one commenter online.
