She’s A Good Choice!! Mugisha Muntu Endorses Nina Roz For Woman MP Of Sembabule

Singer-turned-politician Nina Akakunda, popularly known as Nina Roz, has received a major boost in her political journey.

The aspiring Woman Member of Parliament for Sembabule District was recently endorsed by none other than Gen. Mugisha Muntu, a respected opposition figure and 2026 Presidential aspirant.

Nina Roz, who is contesting under the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, shared her excitement with her supporters by posting a video clip of Gen. Muntu passionately addressing a crowd of voters.

In the clip, the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) leader urged his followers to back Nina Roz in the upcoming 2026 general elections.

“When it comes to the Woman Member of Parliament in this region, as ANT we have no female contestant. I then request you to vote for NUP’s Nina Roz. As people of change, we are looking forward to taking over it.”

This endorsement is being seen as a significant show of unity among opposition parties working toward a common goal of political transformation in Uganda.

Gen. Muntu endorsed Nina Roz as he carried out his political rallies in one of the regions of Sembabule, urging voters to vote for him.
