Singer Alien Skin Wanted by Police Over Alleged Murder Of His Dancer
The clock may be ticking for controversial city musician Alien Skin, whose suspected role in a brutal murder has launched a full-blown police manhunt.
As reported by Witness Uganda, authorities are closing in on the artist and a circle of associates—referred to as the Fangone members—who are now under grave murder investigations.
The Gruesome Incident
The event reportedly happened last Saturday in Kizungu, Ndebba village, where Alien Skin is suspected of leading a violent assault on his former aide, Namuwaya Wilfred. The victim, once employed at the artist’s notorious Fungon base, allegedly endured a savage beating that ended in his death.
Witness Uganda has learnt that the deadly attack was carried out following explicit directives from Alien Skin himself.
“Pick Him Like a Grasshopper”
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, SSS Patrick Onyango, confirmed the grim accounts. “Alien Skin instructed one of his bodyguards, identified as Musumali, to pick Namuwaya from his home and bring him to the Fungon basement,” Onyango disclosed.
“Upon receiving orders, Musumali rushed to Namuwaya’s home, picked him like a grasshopper, and delivered him to the basement,” he said, illustrating the forceful abduction in stark terms.

Inside the basement, events spiraled quickly. Alien Skin allegedly confronted the deceased, questioning why he had dared to leave the base without approval.
“Can you discipline him now such that it serves as a lesson to those who wish to leave Fungon without my consent?” Alien Skin reportedly commanded.
After this order, Fungon members allegedly launched into a violent attack on Namuwaya. The assault was so brutal that the victim struggled to survive. Later, his lifeless body was found abandoned near his home in Ndebba, alarming area residents.
According to witnesses, neighbors rushed the severely injured man to Mulago Hospital, but he passed away the next day despite doctors’ efforts.
Murder Case Officially Opened
Police have since initiated a full probe. A murder file is now registered under reference number SD/20/09/25 at Ndebba Police Station, and officers are treating the matter with high urgency.
However, the killing wasn’t an isolated case. Police say the incident reflects a disturbing cycle of violence commanded by the self-declared star.
“Two weeks ago, Alien Skin had been ordering his bodyguards to storm the homes of people who abandoned Fungon and assault them,” Onyango stated.
More Fangone Commanders Wanted
Investigators have expanded their pursuit to several other suspected inner-circle members. These include Mudogo, Ibra Kabadeya, and Jaguro, all now under scrutiny for alleged involvement in the assaults.
“No one has the right to force anybody to stay in his camp,” Onyango stressed. “No contract was signed, no appointment letters issued, and no salary put up, so people are free to leave when they want. This should not be taken as a crime.”
Law enforcement has pledged to apprehend all culprits. Once captured, they will be arraigned in court for murder, which could mark the fall of a group long accused of operating above the law.
Public Outcry and Police Appeal
These revelations have triggered national outrage and reignited debates on celebrity power, gang-like loyalty, and unregulated influence in Uganda’s music scene.
The Uganda Police are now calling on the public to share any information on the suspects’ whereabouts. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and security measures have reportedly been intensified across Kampala and surrounding areas.

As the noose tightens around Alien Skin and his alleged collaborators, one reality is emerging: the era of unchecked celebrity gangs in Uganda may be drawing to a close.
