Life is full of choices, and sometimes those choices leave deep scars that are hard to erase. My name is Sarah, and I come from Masaka in Uganda. For many years, I lived in regret because of the decisions I made when I was younger. I aborted more than ten times, thinking it was the only way to escape my problems. But the pain that followed those abortions was far worse than I ever imagined. I could not sleep peacefully at night because I constantly heard babies crying in my ears. Every day, I lived with guilt, fear, and sadness.

For a long time, I carried this burden alone. I could not tell anyone because I feared judgment from my family and community.
