I Caught Shamim Malende Cheating And I Have Her Videos!! Malende’s Ex Husband Reveals Secrets Of Their Breakup And Malende’s Sickness Stunt
Andrew Ssebunya, estranged husband of Kampala Woman MP Hon. Shamim Malende, has responded after accusations by the legislator about their breakup and alleged social media account takeover.
In a statement to local media, Ssebunya denied Malende’s claims, presenting a counter-narrative that suggests her allegations divert attention from the real reason for their separation.
“I caught Shamim cheating with a well-known Ugandan comedian,” Ssebunya alleged.
“Out of respect for our past and for the sake of privacy, I will not mention his name. But I believe her guilt is what’s driving this smear campaign against me.”
Ssebunya’s comments follow Malende’s public declaration ending their long-term relationship, warning the public Ssebunya doesn’t represent her and claiming he’d taken over her social media, prompting her to seek tech experts’ help to regain control.

However, Ssebunya strongly denies any current involvement with Malende’s digital platforms.
“I last had access to Shamim’s social media accounts last year,” he said. “Since then, I have neither logged in nor interfered with them. These accusations are baseless and unfair.”
Ssebunya added that he had made significant personal sacrifices during their time together and expressed disappointment at how he is now being portrayed.
“Shamim should be appreciative,” he continued. “I was there through thick and thin, supporting her in both private and public life. It’s disheartening to see her try to erase all of that history with accusations.”
Ssebunya also dismissed claims that he poses a threat to Malende’s safety, describing such suggestions as “reckless and damaging.”
“I have never threatened her. If anything, I’ve maintained my silence out of respect for the relationship we once had. It’s unfortunate that she’s now resorting to fear-mongering.”
Hon. Malende’s initial statement highlighted how deeply intertwined their personal and professional lives had become, noting that Ssebunya had access to her personal networks, political supporters, and digital platforms throughout their time together.
The public fallout has sparked widespread debate online and in political circles, with many observers warning against the dangers of blending romantic partnerships with political and professional operations—particularly in the digital age where social media plays a central role in public life.
As tensions between the two continue to unfold in the public eye, Ugandans are watching closely to see how the matter will develop. No legal action has been reported as of yet, but sources close to both parties say more revelations may still come to light.
