Hon Joseph Mukasa & Colleagues Donates UGX 300 Million for New Classroom at Ambassador Primary School

Hon Joseph Mukasa has once again shown his commitment to community development by donating UGX 300 million to Ambassador Primary School to support the construction of a new classroom block. The funds, raised by friends of HELP Uganda in the United States, were handed over to the school’s director, Mr. Zziwa Peter, reflecting a collaborative effort to improve education in Makindye-Sabagabo.

The handover event, attended by school staff, parents, and local residents, was filled with optimism and gratitude. The new classroom block is expected to reduce overcrowding and provide a better learning environment for hundreds of students. Mukasa emphasized that education is a key pathway to equipping young people with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed.

In his remarks, Mukasa highlighted the importance of community-driven projects and the role of leaders in supporting local schools. “Every child deserves a safe and comfortable space to learn, and I am proud to support this school in achieving that,” he said, assuring attendees that the contribution is part of a larger commitment to tangible development.

Mr. Zziwa Peter expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mukasa and the friends of HELP Uganda, noting that the additional classroom will significantly enhance teaching and learning. Parents and community members also praised Mukasa’s consistent efforts to address local challenges and his genuine concern for youth welfare.

This initiative adds to Mukasa’s long-standing record of community service, which includes supporting youth programs, empowering women, and improving health services. By directly contributing to classroom construction, he continues to demonstrate leadership rooted in practical solutions and long-term impact.

As construction begins, students and teachers at Ambassador Primary School can look forward to a more conducive learning environment, while the community sees once again that true leadership is about understanding people’s needs and creating real opportunities for growth.
