Interestingly, his wife played a key role in helping them survive by taking on menial jobs around the village, a struggle that continued for many years before they eventually had their breakthrough.

In 2016, they were living in a mud house, which they’ve kept preserved in their compound as a constant reminder of how far they’ve come.
